My parents thing ferrets are just long rats but I am trying to convince them they are much more than that, please tell me some good ways to convince my parents to let me get a ferret!

show them a picture of a ferret and a photo of a python and tell them it's up to them!

Ferrets smell and are a ton of work. Think about this a lot before you decide on getting one as a pet. Also, consider your age. Age you going to be going off to college soon? If so, who will take care of it while you are away.
To convince them that you should be able ot get a ferret, begin by taking care of all of the other pets you have.

Maybe if you told them you would take care of it and clean its cage might help. I have two ferrets and I love them to death. They make me smile everytime I see them. They are such wonderful, funny pets. When you have two ferrets they play together which is great to see. One ferret will be happy with you though. The initial cost to buy one and get supplies can cost you quite a bit look to spend at least $250.00 but after that the expenses are not that bad. Its the ferret and cage that will cost the most. Best to ask for something else. Ferrets have a unique smell that they may not tolerate. Even descented ferrets.

Show them information about the good side of ferrets. Show them that you are responsible. Then tell them that you will take care of it by yourself with no help from them.

i wouldnt have to take it out, its not big, it doesnt bark, doesnt eat as much, doesnt run around the house; at least i didnt ask for a dog
