I need more people as friend's. The one's that I have aren't dependable, trustworthly, or have cars. I seem to be the only one who has a car. I need someone who can be there. Someone I can trust, dependable, and have a voice. I mean alot can talk but they can about themselves. I am going through something and need a good person by my side. If your that person, you can email at my yahoo. It's spicygurl_2286@yahoo.com. I am in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area.

Read your follow up..Changing my advice. My husband just left for Iraq this week too. It is very tough. I have found tremendous support if I reach out to people. I would still would suggest church to meet people or volunteer if you have time...Usually the base has someone that is in charge of helping familes when their loved ones are gone...Connect with that person and see if they can link you up with someone in your situation. It helps to talk to someone else going through the same thing.

Try to pick up a new hobby...Maybe join a bowling league or just something new and fun that you will meet different people and can keep your mind off things. You definitely need to build a support group right now.

I pray that your husband is safe. Take care.

I wish I could be your friend, but I think I'm to far away, if would it so or if you come down here I'll take you around in my Eclipse.

I know in the way your husband most be feeling right now, I felt the same when I was sent to Iraq in the 2003, I just got back about 5 months ago.

Go onto facebook or myspace and find a group of military wives and girlfriends from the base your boyfriend is stationed at. I'm sure you'll find some other wives and girlfriend's from you guy's regiment. The female military community can be very supportive and they are going through the same thing you are.

... guess what to have more friends ... not just the word "I want" and "I this" and "I that" don't just decribe "I" but actually you should describe what would "you" be as a friend ...
