I'd rather be able to fly because I could see a lot more of the world quicker than if I could breathe underwater. People don't normally swim underwater at a very fast speed. It would be so cool to just head out to someplace I've always wanted to visit and go "as the crow flies" to get there quicker.

I would prefer to breathe underwater. I've seen everything up here, but there's a whole world under the ocean that I haven't seen. Also, even if I could fly I would be to afraid to do it for fear that it would all of a sudden stop working. I'm much more afraid of falling then drowning.

I think flying would be the way to go. You can kinda do the same thing under water with SCUBA equipment, where as, flying is some thing you have to do in a bulky plane. Hand gliding wouldn't be the same either.

Breathe underwater. There is a lot of undiscovered territory down there!

Fly. The only thing water is good for is cooking and the occasional shower.

If you can fly you can just go over the ocean instead of swim :)
