Human Nature when cat's away mice will play. Tell teacher to change her strategy or grow up. Wht does her punishment of writing something 100 tiems do for the situation? Nothing. It is road outrage on her part because she is in charge.
Walk out of the room with her (facetious). Instead of writing something 100 times I would write an interesting essay about talk. This would be of benefit to you. It's a kind of passive aggression or a kind of bold imaginative way not to bow down to unfair forces.
Offer to work with her to come up with alternate solutions.
Don't cave in and don't get mad. Both strategies make you into a person of weak character. Meditate and act.
Wear a bandage over hand saying you had accident and can't write.
Mother idea is good. Mother over teacher yes. Student over teacher ha ha.

The teacher is not being reasonable but you can't fight the teacher alone. If your teacher is not willing to change then your strongest allies are your parents. You need to talk with your parents and find out what support you can expect from them. Also you may find help from a principal or possibly a counsellor if your school has those.
If it was me the teacher would come back to find me waiting outside the classroom to prove to him that I wasn't making the noise but that's just me and absolutely refuse to write any sentances no matter what. I was raised to follow the example of Martin Luther King and use non-violent resistance to fight injustice. The problem is that it is a long and painful fight and you aren't guaranteed to win.

What I would do is stay after school and talk to the teacher and tell him that it isn't fair to punish the whole class for a few students that are disruptive. If that doesn't work then go to the principal or have your parents go with you to the principal.

Are you the monitor of the class? If yes try to show them that you are with them then give them a little freedom. Don't forget just a little. They will be quiet. If you aren't talk to the teacher and tell him that you are quiet and who are not.
