Suck it up and do your duty. It is a right our founding fathers lived and died for. It is pathetic that you would not take it seriously! You should be ashamed.

There is no fast, they see you are going to be cutting up, on spite they will keep you.

Though what you could do is be honest. For some reason people start to lie saying "I can be unprejudiced and totally fair." which is lie.

Tell the truth. I did. I told them I trust police more than other people because they are trained observers and don't live in the neighborhood with the accussed, so they will be more honest. They tried to sweat me on this but I told them that was the truth.

Just remember, you gotta be careful, the judge could lock you up for contempt.

Depends on the case, but maybe that there is nothing that convince you that the person is innoccent. Or that, you cannot be impartial. Even better, you know one of the people who is inovlved in the case, or know someone who knows them.

I think you could be jailed yourself for lying about this stuff though.

Really, you should serve your time on a jury, it is your civic duty.

I had already used every excuse imaginable. Nowaday, they are no longer valid. As a matter of fact, if you used any of my excuse, you will receive an overnight letter from the judge informing you that if you don't show up the next day, you will be put behind bars for six months for not doing your civic duty.

If you ever get an excuse without any threat from court or any string attachment, please let me know what it is and how you did it.

I wouldn't get out of it. It is your duty to go. If everyone felt like you, the criminals would rule the world (and they are getting too close as it is). Just go.

That you believe that CSI is real and expect the same quality of evidence in every trial. Otherwise the person is innocent. Always.
