So many questions on here bashing Israel, yet they don't bash hezbollah, al qaeda, or the palestinians for blowing theirselves up in Israel.

They are prejudiced.

I'm a liberal, and I really don't have any feelings about that country. I acknowledge that the Holy City of Jerusalem lies within it's borders, but otherwise, it's just a country with a government on the other side of the world.

I do not hate Israel, because I regard it as just another country on the other side of the world. No higher or lower on my list than Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, or Australia.

Don't make up these half-witted ideas about how we hate things we really don't. It's questions like this that contribute to the problems in this section of Answers.

If you're so concerned about Israel, feel free to go and live there.

I think some goes back to the cold war. We backed Israel & the Soviet Union backed the Arabs. Leftists sympathized with the Kremlin & therefore with the Arabs. Their sympathies never changed. for some, it's probably that we support Israel & they hate the USA so they hate Israel. Some see the Arabs as victims (how they manage to do this is a mystery to me). Others hate Jews as part of their hatred of religion (except violent Muslim Jihadists, go figure).

Well to understand the bashing, you have to look up Israel and what it does to others. It's not exactly the "christain" place. We, the usa back them, and Israel kill/murder others around them. Therefore USA gets some of the blame of Israel's actions. All you have to do is look up the history (and present actions) of Israel.

There's some kind of unholy alliance here in the U.S. between Islam and the secular left. They probably hate Israel because they hate the bible.

You are 100% right. Oddly enough it was liberals who originally supported the state of Israel and now that seems to be shifting more and more to the Republicans. As someone who considers himself left-leaning this is discerning to me and will effect my vote in the next election.

Because they feel it's more pc and hip to protest Israel while wearing face rags.

Do some research on the U.S. foreign policy relations with Israel and the political lobbying efforts of the Israeli's as compared to the others and it will become clear. Then come back here and post something relevant to the issue and you might get it.

Honestly, why do so many on the extreme right hate everyone who disagrees with them? (I did state the "extreme" right as all on the right are not this way)
