YES you can most deffanitly get pregnant on your period.
BUT you can NOT have your period when you are pregnant. When you have your period it is the shedding of the uterin lining. If the lining of your utarus is shedding (empting out) then there is nothing in there so it is impossible to get your period when you are pregnant. You can bleed while you are pregnant tho.

Honestly...everyone is different some people CAN get pregnant during there mentrual period and some people CAN'T...But when you are on your period your egg is actually coming down because it hasn't gotten fertilized which means your period is the lineing of your uterus that is pealing off and is getting ready for your next cycle..Think of it this way..You go to the beach and you get a sun burn..what happens? You start to peal. Well that is what happens when you have a period. Your uterus is..in a way shedding. So some people when they get there periods there egg is still a whole egg..and some people there egg is broken..it just depends on the person and how the person ovulates...Im actually in nursing school so I have to know these kinds of thing..I hope what I said really answered your question...if you have anymore or if anyone has an questions dont be affraid to ask...Ive had a baby before and I actually got pregnant on birth control pills and hoenstly I never missed a pill...AND my husband was using a condom..So everything happens for a reason..and right now I have a healthy baby boy hes 2...and I wouldn't take him back for the world..so if you do get pregnant..Dont worry everyone makes some kind of mistake but I would take a pregnancy as a mistake..its UNPLANNED!!!

Yes! you definitely can. the times with most risk are the week just before your period and the week of and the times with the least risk are the two weeks after your period (in a perfect world where every girl has a 28 day cycle - this obviously is open to adjustment depending on your individual cycle). To be safe ALWAYS use a condom and the pill or other contraceptive. There's really no excuse for not using either anymore with the variety of condoms and contraceptives out there...

You can get pregnant anytime you let a guy stick it in you no matter if you're standing up, laying on your back, side, tummy, sitting on his lap or standing on your head, or having your period. Taking birth control pills, wearing a diaphragm or making him wear a condom (any one,two or all three) are not a guarantee against getting pregnant or catching a disease either. If you're having sex then YES you MAY (probably will) get pregnant. And if you're spreading your sexual favors around you are very likely to contact a disease as well.

It's much less likely than getting pregnant even though you used a condom.

I'd put getting struck by lighting as a much more likely scenerio. When you are bleeding your uterus isn't hospitable, the egg has already disintegrated.

I would say it's possible, like it's possible that you can get your tubes tied and burned and they can heal. It's possible, but it never happens.

You can't have a period during pregnancy unless it's a miscarriage.
