No. At first you will gain weight because muscle weights more than fat. I too joined a litter over a month ago. I gained five pounds then lost seven. Keep going don't give up now you are on the right path. I don't go every day I go four days a week for about an hour. This week I started increasing the cardio and weights. It looks like we are both on the same path. Good luck to you.

If you are trying to lose weight, I just heard about Bob Green, Oprah's trainer, who has written a new book that may be helpful. It is in a green cover, called the Ideal Diet (I think) and he has gotten his name or the book onto certain vegetables, cereals, etc. that are low in calories. I thought that was a good idea that could help everyone who is trying all ways to lose the pounds.

Question yourself how much calories are you taking in per day. Are you also doing non-stop exercise? Non-stop exercise is what makes a difference in losing weight.

Remember that muscles are a bit heavier than fat. So you may be doing more than necessary to just lose weight.

Your doing okay, but your gonna need alot of patience. Your not gonna see anything dramatic in a single month, this takes time and patience, check again in march or april, then there will be a change. Don't get discouraged! Keep it up!

Well have you changed your diet any. Muscle weighs more than fat. Try more cardio less weight training. Although you loose more weight if you train with weights and cardio.Just do higher reps less weight. Good luck. don't get discouraged it takes time....

muscle is heavier than fat. don't judge it by your weight so much unless you are overweight. I'd take a picture in your underwear and then judge your progress by the appearance of your body. are you swimsuit ready.

you're eating too many carbs... carbs trigger insuline insuline stores fat get your energy from fat... theres absolutely no scientific evidence to suggest dietary fat is dangerous to humans... carbs on the other hand... its not about arbitrary numbers but about what you eat and the problem with exercise is that it builds up an appetite and craving for carbs which way to often is compensated for when the person comes home and eats...
