If you think that 5'6 is tall for a 21 year old woman try being 5'6 at 16 years of age like I was. I am now 23 years old and only grew an inch. I am now 5'7.

It's average for an american woman. I am 5'6" as well, and 23.
Most of my family is about 5'6".. between 5'4" and 5'8".
What is tall for a 21 year old woman is anything over 5'10".
