Lots of teams have open tryouts. Depending on the team and your area, you can try that. You can also try to get into a minor league or a developmental league. If you stand out there, the NBA has deals with a lot of leagues to offer their players free agent contracts.

I tried to do something similar. I played in a semi-pro football league with a lot of other guys who didn't play ball in college, or left their teams. Wasn't good enough to go pro, but played with guys that were, and some that did. So yeah, different sport, but same principle. Hope that was helpful.

You can be looked at by a scout or go to one of the NBA training camp things they have for NBA hopefulls. If you think you really are that good you should be able to walk on to a D1 school and get a scholarship then to the draft.

the easiest ways outside of college to enter the NBA is to play over seas ball, or make an open try out to the D-league. sadly the word "Easiest" in this case means not totally and utterly impossible but not likely either especially if you don't already live over seas.

You go to sleep and you dream about playing in the NBA.

Only a couple did what you say. Everyone else worked really hard, played college ball, and then went pro (and most of them do not make it to the pros)

i think of that's going to be Michael Beasley. Scouts love his upside in comparison to Hansbrough's production. they think of that Tyler is sturdy in college yet does not have that skill to enhance greater in comparison to Beasley. I agree that Tyler is the guy in UNC yet with Beasley's stats interior the collegiate point, i think of he's lock for the quantity one spot. He performs like a monster. i think of they are the two candidate for that college of the year award, i like them the two and could get them in my team if ever. that's merely that Beasley is the quantity a million %. this year era. Hansbrough would nonetheless slip his 2d spot. Derrick Rose is in the back of. Eric Gordon besides. How approximately Kevin Love? and O.J. Mayo. It relies upon on the gang draft order on who they like maximum enormously while there are draft workouts that would desire to additionally be seen.

Play somewhere where you can get some good footage of yourself, then find a good agent. If you get a good agent, he can you in the draft camp, if you outshine everybody there you'll probably be drafted.
