Because they are a loose band of terrorist organizations that are from different countries and provinces that have a common goal of promoting a holy war on America and western civilization in general in the name of Islam. They do not fight for one particular country, nor do they wear any uniform of any particular group or nation. That is why the Geneva Conventions do not apply to them (the terrorist extemists). I think you have an oversimplified view of the situation.

Whoever bombed the twin towers and attacked USA on her own soil they are the enemy I was sure it was Osama Bin Laden but I am sure some people are brainwashed enough to blame Saddam I think that is called a smokescreen I'm just surprised how many people fell for it and dont care that the real terrorists got of scott free just so they can be proved right.

It replaced into George W. Bush's bunch that coined the term "Enemy opponents" in order that he does no longer be pressured to tackle them comparable to "Prisoners of war" below international rules. There under no circumstances has been this kind of element as a "war on terror." The be conscious terror is a noun. The definition is "An intense, sharp, overmastering worry." How can there be a war on worry? by potential of how, it replaced into President Roosevelt that mentioned "there is not any longer something to worry yet worry itself." which would be like asserting that we could desire to constantly have a war on happiness or a war on hatred. those names have been created by potential of a guy which could no longer even pronounce the be conscious Nuclear, and positively a guy that did no longer have an fairly super command of the English language. to no longer complication! it is under no circumstances any form of appeasement to enemies to apply appropriate English terminology. .

One thing's for sure: the enemy is NOT "terror". Terror is an emotion. It's also not "terror-ism" either. Terrorism is a tactic.
But, there IS a group of people who have declared war on the United States and the western world. Can you guess what group it is???

Actually its we the usa is the enemy. We invade country after country and continue to stay in those countries. It is USA that trained the so-call terrorist in the aphgan war with russia (look it up). We put saddam in power, we supplied bin-ladden and trained him and his people, and again we created the teliban. The history is there for you to find it, little sad the media doesn't report it much. PBS and 60 minutes has shown some of it at least.

Haven't you been paying attention?
Islamic fundamentalists. They are talkingf about people who would have all women covered head to toe and praying to Allah and only Allah.
These Islamic Fundamentalists come from many different countries, even our own.
What else do you need to know? They aren't going to introduce themselves.
