Did the UK invade and control Ireland due to religious preference?

So why do some continue to lob the entire Middle East into one bunch?

Yes they did, but had to take them over so as to kill them off, if they had gotten the bomb first we would all be dead .but not the blond haired German heritage Aryn people .

the UK liked to take over country's and put in there own people . ever notice , they about controlled the world once.no. its power not religion. I don't think.

Yes people seem very prejudice against all Arabs.it seems half a million dead Iraqis and no one seems to care about them being killed. the baby's women men. killed off its terrible. and most people will say great. kill em all.

The Israelis will start a war soon.
I bet you a dollar.we will go in and fight with them after they do,
The war of civilizations is coming soon.Peace. Pray for Peace..
I pray most every night for the palistinians Y'all.

No. Germany wanted to rule the world they had to be taken out. They wanted to have only one race "Aryan". Northern Ireland, Belfast is part of the UK, get your Geography straight. The fight was on between Protestants and Catholics. The middle east is one bunch because their religious book the Koran/Islam religion is to kill non-christians. This means you and me also, remember 9-11?

Well France and England did declare war on Germany first. And Germany attacked the soviet Union not Russia. Why do you lump all of Eurasia as Russians?

Russia, France and Britain's citizens are all the same color, which is the same as Germany. So no, they didn't care.

Because some of listen to & read what they say & write. The fact that not all wars are based on religion doesn't no mean that all are not. Your argument is like pointing out several people who are not murderers & then asking why people believe that Charles Manson was a murderer.

Hitler's primary goal was to unite all germanic peoples into one nation. In order to do this he had to attack a few of his neighbors...

As to Ireland and England's war, Cromwell believed the Catholics had to be purged from the Isles, as he had swept them from the throne in London.

In contrast the conflict between the Judaic and Islamic peoples stems from Abraham of biblical times. He had two heirs, Ishmael and Isaac. Ishmael was born of his wife's servant, whom she had initially approved of the two having congress. I think her name was Hagar. Anyway, when Sarah had Isaac, she demanded, since she was his wife, that Isaac be made his heir. This resulted in Ishmael and Hagar being left with nothing, and so they cannot claim any right to the Judaic birthright/recognition from their cousins. Sad story, really.

I understand your question (unlike many of the above) and think it is a valid point.

The same people who group them all together are the ones who say things like "the occupation of Iraq by the U.S." They don't understand that they are people. Some are good, and some are bad. The U.S. is trying to promote freedom for the Iraqi's, and there are some that are trying to say that they don't want it.

I'm pretty sure that they just wanted power and land control.
I believe that religion had something to do with it, but also land and power.
Because people are ignorant and do not know any better.
