Can u have bonfires at linda mar beach?

Damn, I was just there. DO NOT have a bonfire in Linda Mar! Thats the bad news. Cops will stop that real fast. If you drive to Pacific Manor (Near the Safeway)....you will find a beach off the Palmetto Ave exit. Its not marked, and its hidden. Look for the lands end apartments on Palmetto and Esplanade. Walk towards the ocean and walk down the stairs. It takes 5+ minutes to get down the steps, so you will know if theres any unwelcome visitors coming. Also, avoid this beach before and during storms. Waves will go to the cliff. Its easy to judge what nights are good and bad. To this date, this is one of the BEST spots I have found for a bonfire north of San Diego since its generally not well known.

kids have bonfires all the time at the one near the taco bell park there and have one. I was there last weekend after surfing it was fine.
