we bought one about three months ago and it quit working on Saturday. From the owners manual, it says that the circuit board is out. Just wondering if this is normal for this brand, and should we have gone with the maytag washer and dryer that we had looked at instead of this one. Right now that is looking like the better option to me.........

if you bought it new 3 months ago it should still be under warranty. we've had a frigidaire front load for just shy of 9 yrs and we've never had any problems with it ... actually we haven't had any repair at all on the washer ... the dryer had a new belt put on last year ....

So I've been quite satisfied ... call the mfg and speak to them ... it doesn't sound like it should have gone so soon.

every brand has some problem at one point or another thats part of life and the world of mass production.

On that note I havent had a problem with either of the two washers I bought.
