i am applying for a part time job in Starbucks dropped in application and thats it. i dont know now what to do now .should i drop more application to other places or call starbucks stores to keep checking in the status of my application.

Just to be safe, drop a few more applications at other places you'd be interested in working.
Rather than calling Starbucks, it's better to drop by in person and check on the status of your application. This will show them that you're really interested in the job. Calling is less professional.

Do both. Apply other places and call Starbucks. You shouldn't limit yourself to one job. However, your persistence will be noted by the manager of the store.

Keep droppin em. Every once in a while they hold hiring fairs so keep your eyes open in the Sunday paper.
