Unfortunately, using the fetal heartrate to predict gender is nothing more than an old wives' tale. Girl heartrates are supposedly higher than those of boys, but my daughter's heartrate was in the "boy" range for my entire pregnancy.

It's a train for a boy!
Race horse for a girl!
Or try ring on a thread over your bump or palm keep it's still, it should go forward and back for boy, circular for a girl.
But like anything just a bit of fun, 50/50 chance either way:o)

I always heard if it was high it was a girl, low it was a boy...My daughter was 148, my son 158, and I`m 11weeks 3 days now and the heartbeat is 164...So it isn`t true!! You just have to wait for ultrasound or until the big day arrives!!

I've never heard of a horse or a train but a girl's heartbeat is supposedly faster-above 150
