I was 10 weeks pregnant when I had a miscarriage on Christmas Eve. Obviously, we didn't know if the baby was a boy or a girl, so we picked a gender-neutral name, Christian. We did get copies of one ultrasound, but it doesn't really show anything. What else can we do to keep Christian's memory alive? I'd like a portrait drawn / made, but who does that sort of thing? Thanks so much!

I think that I want some kind of portrait made, just of a baby with angel wings, or a baby with Jesus. Something to hang on the while with the pictures of our daughter. Can anyone recommend where to get something like this done, and show me some examples?

If you had any ultra sounds done get the pictures down or drawn for you. Or make a scrapbook of what you planned or what you thought he/she would be like.

Maybe you could have a special Christmas ornament made or make one yourself! That would be 1 way every year to make him/her apart of your Christmas! Kind of like an un-birthday! For an everyday memorial you could just find or make something like a plaque or sign or wall hanging that would remind you of him/her. My friends miscarried at 28 weeks! They got a some kind of certificate at the hospital! I think it is really what ever you feel appropriate!

Have the ultrasound photo blown up some and frame it.

Make an ornament made to hang on the tree.

Why not buy a special ornament every Christmas to display on your tree. Age appropriate every year. I am sorry for your loss.
