Sometimes. But it's all a matter of standard. Usually they know that it's higher than most other's standards. But it varies from person to person whether or not they think it's arrogance rather than simply a difference in standards. After all, if you went to the ghetto right now, or some other form of slum, I don't think your standards would exactly be seen as humble. You may seem pretty arrogant to them, despite any efforts of your being polite, that lifestyle simply isn't what you're used to. You're used to experiences much better that that, and in a way, that is the nature of Arrogance.

Sometimes, they know and they don't care. Sometimes they aren't arrogant. You just think they are. Mostly, arrogant people don't really think they are better than others. Deep down, they are so insecure that they project this front that looks like they think they are better than you. The more arrogant, the more insecure they are.

Methinks maybe the reason some are arrogant is because they think they know everything, and when it comes to another opinion they hold no regard or turn to deaf ears.
(Let's say a scholar and a ghetto-boy debate. Who are you going to believe? It would be easier to say the scholar, due to the papers and certificates acknowledging his "Wisdom." But most scholars are "Text book" with some experiments done. But what is easily forgotten and not thought of is the Ghetto-boy has seen things with his eyes.)

Sometimes I really wonder about that to. I think they do realize they are arrogant, but probably would not admit it.

I don't know. People like that live for themselves, think they are
always right and superior and don't care about different opinions or feelings.
