I am 30 now and did not get my 1st period until I was almost 17. Please see a doctor if you have not already done so as I found out I had an ovarian tumor the size of a grapefruit and it needed to be removed. It was non cancerous and after I had the surgery I have not had any more problems. My cycles are irregular, but Apri birth control is a low dose of hormones and it seems to regulate my cycles best and I do not experience any side effects.

My younger cousin had this problem and so did my neighbor when she was young. You will need to talk with a doctor. I do not recall the medical term but I know that they will end up putting you on birth controls pills to help get you to start your period. Some people need a little extra help getting that started. Once it starts it gets crazy from there. Just have your mom or dad talk to your doctor to see what can be done to help you get started.

Nothing! Are you over active with sports and exercise? If this is the case, your metabolism is high and not giving your body a chance to catch up to the growing process. Take it easy for a couple of months and see what happens. If you haven't started by your birthday, then I suggest you see your doctor and get checked out.

Probably nothing, as long as you are eating healthy and are not underweight. Some girls don't get it until their late teens or early twenties. Check with your physician if you are really worried.

Consider yourself lucky
Make an appointment and have yourself checked by your doctor. Wish I had started late. They have medication to fix that.
