usually a hen lay one a day and speaking of fertilized egg, the hen lay fertilized eggs everyday but take into consideration the role of the hen in turning the eggs into chicks(the hen give warmth to the eggs until they hatch)

Depends on the breed of chicken, how healthy they are, how well they're fed, and the time of year. Breeds that are good layers will lay one egg every day, and continue laying at a reduced rate throughout the winter. If you've no cockerel the eggs will be unfertilised, but hens still lay them. If you do have a cockerel then sometimes you will see a spot of blood in the egg yolk - it's the beginning of a foetus (yuck!)

If they lay less often, or not at all, then they're probably unhealthy or unhappy. Make sure they're fed the right food, and have plenty of room to scratch about.

It's rare that hens will lay more than once a day (it's a big egg from a small animal if you think about it!) but we used to have four hens and in the summer would oddly enough get five eggs from them each day. We think they were on a 20 hour cycle or something.

It's not surprising that they lay unfertilised eggs - women, if you think about it, produce an unfertilised egg every month.

My hens usually lay one egg a day (once they reach approximately 1 year old).

Regardless of whether the egg is fertilised or not, it is already what it is when it comes out of the chicken.

It is then that the heat from the hen sitting on the egg for 3 weeks will encourage the egg to hatch if it was already a fertilised egg. If it was not fertilised and sat under the hen for 3 weeks it would be rotten.

As long as you collect your eggs daily, you have no worries about interrupting the life cycle. If leaving a few eggs for the hens to hatch, I mark them with a pencil or black marker, that way you won't get them mixed up when you collect the freshly laid eggs.

If you don't have a rooster, the eggs will most definately be unfertilised.

When a chicken lays eggs everyday no it does not mean they get pregnant every day. A human woman produces an egg every month but is not pregnant every month. I would take a rooster for the hen to get pregnant. If they breed it is very possible that her eggs will be fertilized but not every time. Hens go through spells where they do not lay eggs. Sometimes special feed will help they produce the eggs.

well ur question is as good as ur displayed pic
well,, according to me
it might be difficult
it takes the body of hen a bit time to continue its reproductive cycle
if u r not awre then i must tell ya all the process of release of egg no matter fertilised or unfertilised , is very systematically controlled
during course of evolution hen are not made to feed humans or just to lay eggs
it takes for oogenesis , its growth to turn into mature follicle and then to develop after evolution , so if u want to disturb the metabolic reactions of ur hen u can try 1000s of methods avbl
but it will not change the genetic makeup which nature has selected
u must provide it a certain time period for development , formation of yolk , germ layers , shell , membrane and all

A hen would lay un fertilized eggs untill it does not couplate with a ****. After coupulation, if the egg inside is fertilized, the hen will lay a fertilized egg instead of unfertilized egg.

Yes, as long as she practices abstinence! All bets are off if she starts hanging with the rooster!
She will lay eggs until she runs out of them. So when the hen quits laying eggs, she goes into the stew pot. Older chickens have to be cooked longer, but they make great chicken 'n dumplin's! Yum yum

It is not depend fertilized or not (like in human menstrual cicle around 28 days, hen lay around 23 hours). Main question is age of the hen lay (younger better- sorry, but we know from human side is same), lenght of the lightning hours (if it will be longer and longer, like springtime is better - this from natural ), food quality, and of course breed of the hen lay. (sorry my english)
