With over 100 cable channels, there's nothing to watch. The Golden Globes is an orgy of hasbeens, like Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Eddy Murphy, Beyonce, even Mark Afleck (or whatever his name is). I am ready to ditch Cable and Satellite and get rabbit ear antennaes for the local stations. Agree or disagree?

I'm bored to tears with it, and I work in it every day. Every show is the same and they're all rip off's of foriegn formats. Think American Idol is an American show, guess again. Remeber Trading Spaces... that's a gift from Britain as well. None of the network execs are willing to take a risk on something new and interesting if it might cost them their jobs. Where's MASH, the groundbreaking HBO original movies, the expensive and well written drama. Ok, enough ranting.

I agree, I agree, I agree!! Sooo bored with television, even with all the cable channels, nothing but paid programming. I'm not into the Golden Globes. If I have only Criminal Minds, Boston Legal & Two & a half men, I'm doing just fine.

No, and I don't even have cable. I only get bored with t.v. when there are re-runs on every channel like now. Hence, why I am on the computer now. But class will be starting back soon and so will many the new episodes and then its the struggle of trying to study before watching t.v.

Well I would agree TV is at an all time low but Meryl Streep?
She is one of the best actresses of all time.
And she is a movie star. I have never known her to do TV. She even rarely gives interviews on TV.
"Devil wears Prada". I can't wait to see it. And I loved her in Death Becomes Her!

Not at all. This is the best month of the year! 24, American Idol, House, Bones and Prison Break all on in the same week. I have officially became the ultimate couch potato.

I found a lot of "gems" when we didn't have but 4 channels to choose from. As long as I have Boston Legal I'm alright.
God Bless

I have the 180 channels and we end up renting a movie because there is nothing on.

Yes, Amen to that! Reruns from the 60's would be better! Imogene Coco, there were other comedians and they would be a welcome change. If they cannot do that, how about rerunning day time shows at night?
