Why is it when I compare Clinton to Bush I get 21 responses saying that the actions of one president have no bearing on the next administrations performance? Yet when there is a comparison of Bush and Hitler this comparison is ok?

Clinton, who strongly supported the Albanians, threatened the Serbs with possible military strikes. In March, military forces from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), headed by the United States, began launching missiles and bombs on military installations in Kosovo and Serbia. This action was not approved by the U.N. Security Council, and strongly opposed by Russia and China.

In 1994 Clinton publicly demanded that the Haitian government step aside and restore democratic rule. Congress was united in opposition to American intervention.[10] However, Clinton deployed a large military force to the country in September 1994.

In December 1998 Clinton ordered four days of concentrated air attacks against military installations in Iraq. After the bombing, Hussein blocked any further UN inspections.

CLINTON WAS A BETTER PRESIDENT THAN BUSH AND HE DIDN'T GO AROUND BULLYING THE WORLD BY THREATENING OTHER NATIONS WHO DON'T AGREE WITH US WITH ANNIHILATION.

I don't equate Bush with Hitler as human beings. Feel better?

BUT

Bush has done several things in the last 6 years which are eerily like what Hitler did (questionable election results, patriot act, declaring war without international support)

Nor do I claim NOTHING Clinton did had a bearing on Bush. But what I keep hearing from the Right Wing media is that EVERYTHING that Bush has failed at is Clinton's fault. That's a big difference.

I think this comes not necessarily from comparing him to the individual dictator, but rather noting the unsettling comparisons between facism and Bush's policies.

The Bush/Clinton comparison is always about the individuals.

You know I wonder the same thing...the funny thing is everyone says Clinton was the best president ever, when I challenge them on it when i ask them to name three good things that he did, they come up with nothing. Lets see Clinton ruined the economy, we had Bin Laden captured right after he bombed the USS Cole and we knew he bombed it and he let him go, and he armed North Korea. And also he perjured himself, so what other things did he lie about?

Not OK to compare any of them to each other. They all had their strengths and weaknesses (yes, even Hitler had strengths....that's what got him elected!!!) but all served in different eras.

People get angry that you even had the nerve to compare a statesman like clinton to that dumb monkey we have in the white house today.

Maybe because Clinton got in trouble for love and Bush got in trouble for kidnapping, torturing, and killing.

very simple, the liberals like clinton because he did nothing to protect the United States.

they hate bush because he does. and they cant distinguish between good and evil.
