okay. so just to clear things up, i know im a dumbass and i need anger management. so since thats squared away, i smacked my gamecube really hard and now its making this noise when i turn it on. like something is stopping it from spinning. it works on some games, but on others, it prompts me saying that i need to turn it off and look at the manual. i did and now i need to know how to fix it. i have little money. i can spend 30 bucks. tops. anybody know what i can do?

My GameCube started doing that--not because I'd hit it, mind you!--and it only gradually got worse and worse until it couldn't read any games at all. I had to get it replaced. Fortunately mine was still under warranty; is yours?
