The Chargers didn't blow it - the Patriots won because they managed the end of the game better. I am not a Patriot fan but I gotta admit that they are a tremendous team - they come through in the clutch and make big plays when they count. At the end, San Diego was forced to throw long passes, making L.T. a non-factor in the game's outcome. That probably added to his frustration and making him go off on the Patriots.

Biggest part of the game yesterday was the first half when the Chargers owned the field position battle. They started drives on their 40 or better at least 4 times in the first and the Pats D rose to the occasion and SD got nothing out of it. To me that was a huge part of New Englands win. That and I heard on ESPN last night Tomlinson only touched the ball 7 times in the second half? To me that is poor play calling on SD part....you are almost taking your best player out of the mix on your own.

Fact: Chargers blew it. Made too many mistakes.
Fact: Patriots won. Took advantage of Chargers' mistakes.

First of all the fact that Brown stripped the ball didn't score the points. The Pats still had to charge down the feild for the score. Secondly I think it is a bit of both. The Chargers made critical mistakes, but all of those mistakes would amount to dick if the Pats were'nt a good enough team to capitalize.

both...you can look at it a couple ways. Rivers never should have thrown the pass which colvin intercepted. BUT the patriots are one of the best teams in the 4th quarter and you can see why. also the pats beat one of the best teams in the NFL with brady playing one of his worst games of the year

The Patriots got so lucky. That interception and then Troy Brown stripped the football away??? Come on, pure luck.
