How do I find more music in this style?

I love the song "Popular" by Nada Surf, and how it's talking, to screaming, but the instrumental's still calm and not so "hardcore." Any one know where I can find more?

Try using Pandora radio, since it will find music for you that is similar to a certain song that you put into it. www.pandora.com

its not exactly like that but the dudes voice is pretty intense while the music is chill

try Allmusic.com, it tells you similar artists etc. From your desctiption, sounds abit like The Pixies, maybe try them.
