I was just asking. I don't think I will get the short end of the stick. We know each other quite well we've lived together for 2+ years now. We've accepted each others flaws and rejoiced in each others strengths.

when your courting life is good but after the knot gets tied life gets ugly. All the nice nice goes away and all the real things happen. no more pretenses, no more false aires, no more polite stuff...the masks are gone and we see what we are really about...like standing in front of people with no clothes on...nothing is hidden

For me, marriage changed the relationship because we moved in with eachother. All those little habits he had suddenly became magnified and annoying. The other difficulty I had was having the feeling that I had lost my "leverage" or feeling like I was trapped. While we were dating there is always the option/threat to break-up and this was now eliminated . No matter what we argued about or how angry I was there was absolutely nothing I could do -- I was forced to stay. I was never the type to break-up over arguments and never did, but that loss of control was really hard for me to cope with. Of course during a courting relationship things are still interesting and new, while marriage provides security, it's downfall would have to be monotany in all aspects. Couples have to try really hard to keep the marriage interesting in all areas.

Before marriage, my husband was abit insecure and would argue about anything now hes more secure and the marriage gave him a true feeling of security about are relationship in other words I MARRIED him cause I truly loved him and he realized that once I married him. And I feel if two people love each other honestly they should get married it would make you both stronger and give security and stability,Me and my husband love each other more now and we feel its still growing and we are best friends which the key to a life lasting marriage is a close friendship.

The biggest difference is the sex. Of course, now we have children, so from a practicality standpoint, our encounters are fewer and further between. On the other hand, we are both making our marital relations a priority, as well as just making time for one another.

well, theres a lot of changes that you will notice after tying the knot. My husband complains about me sometimes, and I complain also about him no longer doing those old things to me. So basically, we just say to eachother "you should have read the fine prints of your marriage contract"... lol .......makes everything funnier

If you are aksing this question, you are not ready to get married. You love him as is now and the vows say for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health and you know the rest- as he changes and he will, you work around that as he will for you
