You just have to ask her!
Say, "Mom, I think I need a new bra."
She understands, she went through the same s**t we do. One person who will NEVER judge you is your mom.
Try mentioning it in passing, that way she'll get that you don't really want to talk about it.
It's really not something that you should be scared of!

First of all, why do you choke? Is it because you are underage to wear a bra and might be afraid of what you're mom will say? Honey, I wouldn't be scared of your mom! I bet when she was younger she had the same problem with her mom and wishes you and her would have a better relationship! Ask your mom if you could wear a bra, it's not like she will hurt you in any way! Just ask her and be confident! She's your mom!
Dont worry, I had this same problem when I was young too. I got over it in one day! And it raised my confidence level. I think every girl had this problem, and it's normal to feel awkward.
Good Luck!!

Just go shopping with her one day....maybe Walmart....and while you're there pass by the bra section and say "Oh ya, I need a new bra, I'm going to go take a look"
i doubt you guys will be sitting around in your bras during the sleepover so you should be ok.

I completely understand. I went through the same thing, and it took me a long time to finally ask my mom. Eventually, I told her that I needed to go to the store. She asked what for and I blushed and tried to leave. She sat me down and started talking about growing up and becoming a woman and all that stuff no one really wants to hear as a girl. But it went okay. If you get embarrassed, just try not to run. It might take a few mintues to explain what you need, but your mom might understand when you turn red and can't look at her. Good luck!

How about leave her a note? Or email her? Although I dont think you need to be so nervous about this. It'd be weird if you need to ask your dad... but this is your mom! Odds are she needs an excuse to go to Victoria Secret too. You can have a bra shopping experience together.

Trust your mom. Just tell her that you need to go shopping and just wander into that area and ask her how a bra is supposed to fit because you're not sure about yours, it'll help put her in control and take the pressure off you. Plus she'll help you find something perfect.

I am the exacly same way. Maybe it would be easier if you ask your mom for money for a new bra and then go with friends. Or just tell her that you need a new bra! Although it may seem ackward, once you ask it won't be nearly as bad as you thought.

its your mom don't be embaressed. Just ask if you can go shopping and head for the bra section. pick them out put them in the cart and don't think about it. If she wants to know why you need to go shopping Just tell her. you have a sleep over and you don't want the other girls to notice your bra's don't fit. Your mom would never want anyone to think she didn't take care of you.

That is something you shouldn't be embarrassed to ask your mother. If you're really shy ask her if she will be going shopping soon and ask if you could go along. While at the mall look for a bra (few selection is best considering the look and price your mom will consider) and ask if she can buy them for you.

honey just ask. she's a woman too. it's a part of life. loosen up a little. i had a lot of problems too because my mother was so overly modest it was embarrassing for her as much as it was for me. once i loosened up she would blush at some things i said but eventually she loosened up as well and it really helped by breaking the ice with her. heck i dont care if a guy sees me carrying a tampon to the bathroom. if they want to say something who cares? it's a fact of life every girl gets their period. just relax take a deep breath and say mom. i need new bras. just say it it's like ripping off a band aid.
