I guess that's why it's called "acting" because I never would have thought this actor had such an obvious British Accent, and he's very funny, even moreso than on the show House M.D. Funny how people can hide their accents so well. :)

I knew he was British, because I love his acting so much I looked him up. I think he is a terrific actor and House is one of the best shows on TV. By the way, if you want to see him in a totally different character, he also played the dad in the kids movie "Stewart Little"

Hugh was born June 11/1959 at Oxford,Oxfordshire England. He also played the dad in Stuart little movie.

But he's not the only "accented" actor on "House";Jesse Spencer(Dr. Chase) is an Australian...

Yes, I knew about the accent and how funny he was from seeing him on talk shows and in diferent interviews. I really like him as an actor and person.

Well he is british and If you think he is funny in house (And he is hilarious) you should watch him in blackadder with rowan atkinson when he was younger it is hilarious.
