I remember it well. David Scott was the commander, and they landed near Mount Hadley, next to Hadley Rille. This was the first Apollo mission to land in the mountains instead of the plains, and the TV views were jaw-dropping spectacular. They also had a lunar rover (electric car), and got right to the edge of the Rille (a lunar valley that looks like a giant trench). Then, when they were leaving the Moon to go back to the command module, they left the TV camera on the rover turned on and pointed towards the lunar module, and we actually got to see the lunar module blast off from the surface of the Moon! Wow!
