i know how to do recipricals but i forgot how to do 0, the choices are -1, 0 , 1, or undefined

There isn't one. Reciprocals multiply to give you '1', but no number will multiply by '0' to give you a '1'. That's why division by 0 is 'undefined.'

Undefined, in ordinary algebra (which I assume you're in)
0 is the additive identity, and by reciprocal (in ordinary algebra) we usually mean the number N which, when multiplied by the number M, gives the multiplicative identiy, 1.
Generally, M = 1/N.
However, there is no number M that you can multiply by 0 to get 1, so 0 has no reciprocal.

It's undefined. 0 has no reciprocal because division
by 0 is undefined.
