I think that both is fun. If you drink at home you never have to worry about how your getting home. However its always fun to go out too

I prefer at home with friends. The bar is too expensive and too many people most the time. I do like to go out every now and then though, just for a change of pace.

A little of both. It's cheaper and safer at home, but sometimes I like to make an @ss out of myself at the bar

At home with a good friend and a movie if I'm broke.
At a pub with karaoke / live band / jukebox for a game of pool and trying my luck on the poker machines when I'm not broke, which is hardly ever!

If I had a few friends over at home.
If I was by myself at a bar because I might get lucky and meet somebody interesting.

Depends on my mood. Usually with friends at one of our houses. That way we can drink all night if we want...and not have to drive!
