I'm 18, 5'4" male. I've read many questions and answers on how to get tall and stuff, but in reality, has any of it ever worked?. For those of u who had managed to get taller, please help. I'm not talking about kids around the age of 1-16 who obviously will grow. I'm talking more about the age around 18 and above for males.

I did. I was 4'9" when I was 18 years old. I grew six inches when I was 19, and another 6 inches or so when I was 24. I am now 5'10", and 51 years old, and studied this much when I was younger.

Aside from a balanced diet, the best thing I found to stimulate growth in height, was working out with free weights, which stimulated the production of Human Growth Hormone. Natural production of HGH is several orders of magnitude better than taking those HGH precursors, or even the HGH injections, which technically in the USA, you are not eligible for, unless a doctor were to find an off-label excuse. Anyway, I understand they are quite painful and expensive.

Include quite a bit of protein in your balanced diet, and work out with heavy weights on alternating days. On the days you use heavy weights to exhaustion, include a little bit of cardio exercises. On the days you do not use weights, exercise a bit more cardio exercises.

The only way to grow taller at your age is to stimulate the production of HGH, and working out with lifting heavy weights is the best way to stimulate HGH production, and the cardio exercises cause it to circulate through the body. Make certain you also drink much water.

Good luck to you.

Most males continue to grow in height until their mid 20's. You won't grow as quickly as during your teenage years, but you continue to grow. Some males will add several inches to their height between 18 and 25. Be patient.

your height is determined by your genetics. you can no more change your height than you could the color of your hair or eyes...

some people have growth spurts others grow slow and steady. once you hit 20 you can pretty much be sure that you are done growing tall.

You can gain height but it may take time, also you need to play lots of games like football, tennis, vollyball etc. These kinds of games contains stretchings. You basically need lots of stretching, along with these games you can do yoga and other stretching exercises. Also you can try skipping and swimming. But be regular and determined to it then only you will succeed..........good luck
