Could be just the drain hose cracked. I would move it out to where I could get the back off and see where the water is coming from. Most all the parts are replaceable.

If you find out what's broken, you can buy Maytag parts from Sears. You will need the owner's manual or parts manual for your washer to find the part number, or you can look it up on line by the model number. The model number is usually on a metal plate or sticker on the machine somewhere.
Call 800-366-7278 for Sears Parts. You can charge the part on a charge card and they will mail it to you. You can usually replace the part yourself and save a lot of money and time. It's not rocket science.
Good luck! It's a pain in the rear when the washer's broken...

Fix the water going on the floor?
Yup - turn off the machine - and the water line in the back. . .
Then call the Maytag repairman in the morning -
According to the tv ads?
He should be anxiously awaiting your call, and available to repair your machine pronto . . . he's the 'loneliest' repairman in the world (according to Maytag manufacturer).

Call the Magtag repair man. He needs the work. You could take the back off and find out where it is leaking. Make sure that the drain pipe is at proper position. Also make sure your drain isn't stopped up and causing the water to back up.

Could be the drain hose at the bottom of the drum. Sometimes they come off due to vibration.
