I am stuck on this one. Dont give me the answer. Just tell me the starting equation I know it starts with:

.90x+.75(20)= Then what?

This is the question: I mixed 90 cent candy with 75 cent candy. How many pounds of 90 cent candy must be added to 20 pounds of 75 cent candy to make a mixture of 85 cent candy?

First to answer correctly will get best answer! I will know the correct answer when i see it

let x be the pounds of 90 cent ... needed
we have
90*x + 75*20 = 85*(x+20) (the total money you will have to pay)
=> x = 40 pounds

equal to 85 cents times total weight
