Sure I have an idea. If you cannot think of a "momentous event that changed your life" then you can take the opportunity to write some Fiction. Make it up, be creative, tell a tall tale.

You didn't mention your age, or what level English class this is. It wouldn't be unusual for a younger person not to have yet experienced a momentous, life-changing event. If this is true in your case, you may want to state that, then describe how your experiences, family, background, studies, morals, views, outlook, will prepare you for any momentous event, good or bad, that you may face.
