I take it you do not mean scientist. From the link below see the section on Etymology. I think one stereotype is that science is always right. This is rarely if ever the case, science is a picture in our head , a model of reality. At one time the world was flat. As time went by this model lost credibility. Today most people would agree that the world is a sphere. The modern scientist would disagree. The world is a vortex in the space time continuum, they would say.
Now I don't know what that means, but it is a obviously a better model than the sphere theory. Science is about making better and better models. The day Scientist perfect the model is the day creativity and human thought will cease to exist.
