Depression is an illness that involves the body, mood, and thoughts. It affects the way a person eats and sleeps, the way one feels about oneself, and the way one thinks about things. A depressive disorder is not the same as a passing blue mood. It is not a sign of personal weakness or a condition that can be willed or wished away. People with a depressive illness cannot merely "pull themselves together" and get better. Without treatment, symptoms can last for weeks, months, or years. Appropriate treatment, however, can help most people who suffer from depression.

Doctors aren't certain if depression is always caused by changes in hormonal structure or other physical circumstances. Probably. Can these elements be a direct link to the brain? Probably. The feelings of depression are extreme sadness, inactivity, tiredness, inability to sleep, aches and pains, feeling of hopelessness, etc. Usually various types of medication help in alleviating depression but never curing it. Shock Therapy often works quite well, however, it rarely lasts for more than a week or two. It is very difficult for a depressed person to do anything for themselves. Everything becomes a major chore.

I'm quite sorry to listen to approximately that! I recognise first-hand how so much social nervousness can screw up your lifestyles. I have it, too, however by hook or by crook I can maintain it underneath manipulate. I recognise the sensation of running in an open house and simply being so involved approximately the way you seem to others, and being so self-mindful, that you're ALWAYS maintaining monitor of ways you seem and sound to others. It quite takes up your lifestyles and consumes you. I hate to mention this, however I have simply treated and lived with it. It is quite tough to discover a massive different this fashion, or any peers for that subject , such as you stated. Sometimes I believe love it's one of these waste of lifestyles to be this fashion, and it quite is, on the grounds that we are not contributing our area of expertise to the sector, we are simply scared to exhibit ourselves to folks. It's no option to reside, and we must be proud to exhibit off who we're and be open and permit folks in. I quite desire you may have the braveness to confide in folks, simply check it out at some point. Do anything at some point that you do not most commonly do, then possibly you can get the braveness to do ONE MORE factor you would not most commonly do. Then expectantly, finally you are going to be on the factor wherein you're extra outgoing and equipped to converse greater. Gradually do that, and notice what occurs. Good success, and simply DON'T suppose suicidal. There are folks JUST LIKE YOU, identical issues, running amongst you, and you do not even are aware of it. With a few support , you'll be able to get greater FOR SURE. it is all approximately your brain-set. inform your self you'll be able to do that... attempt to difference your outlook on matters... if none of this works you quite want a few treatment. i've been on zoloft and it helped SO MUCH. i felt soooooooo natural and constructive!!! for those who quite want meds I could speak in your mother and father... good i want you success!!! you are no longer on my own ! :) i am hoping i made experience.. i am so worn out hahaaa

Depression is that feeling you get when you're not in the mood to laugh or anything, and you just wanna sit there and not have any fun, and it's not intentionally either.

it can be a chemical embalance, that can cause aches and pains and can affect the way you think and make you feel tired and have funny sleep patterns and can make you not enjoy anything, and makes you want to commit suicide because you hate being alive. I think that covers most of it.
