Okay,
Before now the last period I had was on October 18th. I was confirmed by my gyno that I was not pregnant. Finally on January 1st I was visited by my FRIEND. I have had my friend for 15 days and counting. Now I used to be on Yasmin birthcontrol for like 2 years but I quit taking that in July. I just want to know what might be going on. I don't have insurance and the last visit to the gyno costed like $200. Some people say it may be a tubal preg. but I have only had a few days with very mild cramps. Also this is not normal for me at all. Before I started bc my friend visits were as predictable as they were with the bc. Please help!!!

You need to see an Gyn. 15 days for your period? This is not something that can be diagnosed with any certainty, online. You need to see your Gynecologist. Good luck.

Your question was a bit confusing for me, but I'll try to answer it as best as I can .Your cycle just got a bit off b/c of giong off the birthcontrol. It can't be a tubal pregnancy b/c your obgyn confirmed that you weren't pregnant. The reason you're bleeing for so long is b/c you hadn't had your period in so long.....kidn of like when pregnant women don't get their period for 9 monhts, then it all comes out at once and they can have their periods for weeks or even months. That's a bit different..it's not a standard period, but more about all the blood in the uterus during gestation. But getting back to you, I don't see any reason for you to worry. You seemed to have a regular cycle (which means you're healthy), then you went on, then off bc. That will always take your body a while to adjust to a new cycle. That's the best I can do considering I don't know how old you are.why you went on the pill in the first place, why you then stopped and if you're sexually active (sounds like you are). The answers to those questions might also claify things more. But all in all, I don't think this sounds odd. And there's likely nothing wrong with you. One last thing, if you're a student, you can always go to the school nurse or your university's health center...as part of your tuition, you are entitled to see a doctor for a minimal fee, if any. There's also a place called Planned Parenthood. It's not just about birth control or couples who want to get pregnant; they provide any kind of gyno needs you have. They have good doctors who can help you out. I believe they are free, or maybe they ask for a donation or something. Good luck.

It could be a lot of things like in my case and imbalance in your thyroid gland. The way you find out is by getting a few test for the thyroid which a good endocrinologist will be able do diagnose. Usually if this is the case, the endocrinologist will give you a prescription for this condition so it levels the imbalance in your body. I am sorry to say that this in not a cheap treatment but it is a life or death situation on the long run if it goes untreated. Other symptoms could be change in your hair structure, changes in your skin, insomnia, weight gain or weight loss, absence of period or in the other hand period for a lot of days, spotting between periods, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. Good luck sweetie.

If your current doctor is not helping to find answers it's time to find a new doctor! You know your body better than anyone else. Ask your friends and close relatives for recommendations of good GYN doctors in your area or call your insurance carrier.

It could just be your body getting off track big time by not taking the pills anymore. Go to a clinic, it shouldn't cost as much. If not, maybe it will even itself out
