I had answered this question yesterday.
There are three kinds of efficient markets. One weak form efficient, semi strong form efficient, and strong form efficient. In weak form efficient markets the past information is reflected in the share prices. In semi strong form efficient markets the present day information is reflected in the price of the stock. In strong form efficient markets all available information including that of the future is reflected in the stock price.
