First and foremost, no member of the Duke Lacrosse team raped, assaulted, kidnapped, etc. the accuser. However, they were wrong, but not for what they were prosecuted for. Just as their own parents said in their interview on "60 Minutes," they were morally wrong for having this party and condoning this behavior as a team, but they have payed the price many times over for this behavior. As a Division I leading team, they should know that their actions off the field as a team and individuals play as important a role as their actions on field.

That being said, the accuser has both provided many false statements to the police as well as committed perjury on the stand. On the first day she went to the police, she provided three different accounts of what happened, and one even included that nothing happened. Unfortunately, as much as I believe she should receive jail time for her actions, she will most likely get off with a slap on the wrist. It is her actions that make those that are truly raped harder to convict those that assault them.

The other thing that I must mention is, of course, District Attorney Mike Nifong. As much as I would enjoy seeing him sued and in jail, most likely neither of these things will happen. He should never have prosecuted this case, as the evidence was not there to do so. However, he used this as electoral sway for an election he would have most likely lost. He will most likely be disbarred by the North Carolina State Bar, but despite changes in the North Carolina law to allow for the ability to sue a District Attorney in the future, he will be grandfathered into getting off pretty much free and clear.

Just an unfortunate situation overall....

I feel bad for the Duke LaCrosse team. They were just being boys when they hired two strippers, and now their lives have been completely ruined. Both girls should be charged with perjury. They BOTH initially had the same story, which was that a gang rape had occurred. Then stripper ( I mean skank ) #2 changed her story around a bit. Now skank #1 isn't quite sure what happened! Hmmm..... well I smell a couple of skank ho's that thought they were messin' with a bunch of rich kids, and thought they saw $$$$$$$$ for a minute or two, and they just picked the wrong people to try their plan out on. They better go to jail for atleast 5 years.....really hard labor! Not to mention the fact that #1 just didn't want people to know she f***** FIVE different guys in one night and now she doesn't know who the father is.

The prosecutor is guilty of railroading the players on the team, but how is he different than any other white male who is trying to suck up to the black militant racists that run the politically correctness in this country.

Personally I think these players should all be sent to Death Row even though they did NOTHING wrong. They should have Ray Lewis, and OJ Simpson throw the switch on these "white racists"

Afterall injustice perpetrated on white people on the behalf of black people is a good thing..just ask any black person. Like affirmative action two wrongs do make a right.

They're hammerheads.
I don't have a problem with people seeing them as hammerheads.

The girls will punish themselves through addiction and poor choices.
