i think "popping your cherry" originally came from the hymen breaking, meaning you had sex for the first time.
but considering girls are very active these days and many girls' hymen are already broken by the time they lose their virginity, popping your cherry just means having sex for the first time.

You don't get it. Your first time is the only time when your "cherry" is popped. It cannot be popped again

my cherry didn't pop till like the third time, he was being very gently with me cause it was my first time and I was scared. so I guess everyone has a different flexiblity for their helogen

That's impossible. Sexual intercouse would naturally
penetrate the hymen, the first time. Women do not always bleed when this happens. They don't always have pain, either.

you couldn't been having vaginal sex?if so you would have been popped-bleeding if you had sex-penetration use a condom at all time be safe
