They haven't yet! Hopefully they will be in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. (Book 7)

The closest we've come to seeing Ron and Hermione together is at the end of the 6th book, when they're holding each other in one of the final scenes, but that wasn't quite a "couple".
It might happen in the 7th book though.

It hasn't happened yet. Look for it to happen in book 7.
In the 4th movie / book when Ron and Hermione argue about her date Victor, she basically says "well you know what to do next time there is a dance, pluck up the courage and ask me for yourself and don't wait to do it as a last resort."
It's not a verbatum quote, but you get the idea.

Depends on who you ask. Some people say never, others say in the second book. I think that Ron likes Hermione from book two, but Hermione doesn't start liking Ron until book four. The two idiots don't actually admit it openly until book six.

i read all six books twice. the first time around i thought they seriously hated eachother, but the second time i noticed it was more jealousy. in the 6th book during the funeral they are holding eachother but considerin the situation i say ron was just comfortin hermoine. i hope they get together in the 7th book.

well they started to actually show interest in each other in the 4th book, but it's up to the 6th book and they haven't said anything about it, so hopefully it'll happen on the 7th
