In the treaty they agree to halt building houses on the West Bank. But if America was told to stop building houses on the border with Mexico would we? Hell no, so why all the backlash against another country looking out for it's interests?

That's a good question. If Americans were being blown up in shopping malls and having to face a hostile government hell bent on our destruction moving into our country to terrorize us, we'd put a bounty on the heads of the Hamas members. We'd develop sprays and have our neighborhoods fumagated like they were cockroaches if that nonsense was going on here. Why doesn't Irael have the same rights to protect themselves?

No they are not wrong it is rightfully their land they were nice enough to give some back and it is their money as well for every dog gone thing down there. Palestineans did not want their own state because they werent through taking handouts yet? And now they once again want to pitch a b----, why because they are greedy little pawns of the 21 other countries and no one wanted them in their country so now they are used to stir up trouble to keep a foothold in Israel for the United Arab Republic and Russia?
That is why China is backing Israel all the way right now.
Read the history of UAR and their goals? How Egypt was forced to join in the 60's because they were under attack in their country by their own in Arabia to get to Israel, then Nassur joined to get the guns from Russia. Reality, they are the aggressors!

I'm not sure it's in Israel's best interests to continue building settlements on the Gaza strip-and they have more dangerous neighbors than we do in Mexico...they need to work on building some allies over there but seem to refuse...

It is Palestine who has violated every cease fire
and other treaties put forth so far. Israel gave them
the Gaza Strip and Palestine still wasn't satisfied.
They just want to keep fighting is all I can figure out.

The difference is, if we started building on the south side of the Mexican border, or the North side of the Canadian border, didn't pay taxes to either nation, didn't subject ourselves to the rules and laws of that nation and considered it our God Given Right to do so. No they should not have approved further building, they should not have built in the first place, and they should leave the west bank and stay in the land given to them after WW2. Most of what the problems they have, they encouraged upon theirselves. I hate to side with the enemy, but on this one, I'm leaning hard that way.

we are not in a physical fight with mexico. why are people against peace? i do disagree with israels actions and pals actions too. neither are innocent. of course i don't live there,so the only way either of them affect my life is through the welfare the US gives them. pals no longer get any,israel shouldn't either.
