This is a $300 parka so I don't want to screw it up! It's made of polyester fleece (inner layer) and nylon outer layer.

On an investment like this don't risk it. It is worth the taking it in to the dry cleaners. Your coat will last longer in the long run so it's worth the small amount a dry cleaner will charge.

There should be a tag with laundering instructions somewhere on the inside. Look in the side seam. It really does look like this parka can be washed in your washer with these fabrics that you listed. Wash on a gentle cycle and fluff in the dryer but take it out and hang it before it dries completely.

I would think the parka made out of that kind of fabric could be washed on the gentle cycle of the washer, and tumble dry low. Is there a tag inside saying how to wash it?
