I can't stand the Paris Hilton types walking around with a damn Chihuahua. I ask them to leave the dog at home or in the car but they insist its a guide dog. How can it be a guide dog in your purse ? What if it needs to take a crap ? Dogs look miserable in those damn purses. Isn't it hazerdous to walk around a grocery store with a damn chihuahua ? This is one trend thats making me sick and I hate walking around stores and seeing them advertising Dog purses. Thats animal torture isn't it ? I know I am just grunting. I hope you feel the same way ? Is it just me or are only white females into this crap ? I mean C'mon

I agree, this is a disgusting trend, and it's also unnatural. Any behaviorist will tell you it's psychologically damaging for the animal to be carried so high up instead of walking on it's own four paws on the ground. Those dogs inevitably become nasty, biting terrors that nobody wants to go near because they're so screwed up in the head. It's not just white girls though, sorry, I work for a groomer and I've had black and asian girls bring their dogs in like this too.

I also hate to see it. I know these dogs are probably attached to their owners, and like to be with them while they are out, but I'm sure the dogs would like to get down and walk around sometimes. I have never seen anyone take a dog into a grocery store, but it is very unsanitary and should not be allowed unless it is a True guide dog. But i do have to disagree with hating chihuahuas. I love all dogs, and while i have met some annoying ankle biting chihuahuas, i have also met some very nice chihuahuas (who don't get carted around in a bag all day).

I'm a white female and I would never do this!! I think it's a disgusting not to mention degrading way to treat an animal. Guide dog my foot! How stupid is that?!?!?! Animal torture....don't know if I'd go that far I suppose these dogs just get used to it. My dogs want to come with me all the time but on days that are going to be hot I won't take them just to leave them roasting in the car while I'm running errands....now that is animal torture.

I personally think it is cruel to tote a little dog in your purse even if it is made to hold a poochie I think everything that Paris Hilton does is stupid especially her dog fetish she is not the brightest bulb in the pack

Ok guys.....lighten up! I am a white female...and I agree with you! But...I have a black lab/chow mix dog. I have lots of friends...and NO ONE has one of those nasty looking dogs! I think maybe it's only the rich girls that do that??
BTW...I don't like Paris Hilton either.

It's pretty stupid. What if you set the bag down and forget it or someone steals it? It's also against sanitary regulations if you're going into someplace with food.

Well daniel not every one keeps their chihuahua in a purse and its good to take your dog out on trips to socialize it and it might miss you wen ur gone. please stop comparing every woman that owns a chihuahua to paris hilton. i dont like her nad i dont thnk much women do.
