Because, Orton deserves it.
Also as one of the main superstars, when was the last time he had a major title? (not counting the tag team, it's not very major)
He's been working hard.. and for what? It's about time he has a title shot basically.
And it's not just us, Vince thinks it too =)

I don't know....Randy Orton has no talent at all. It should be someone like Shelton Benjamin or CM Punk, Chris Benoit.

A better question is who's left? HHH is hurt and Edge had his battles with Cena in '06. HBK is a face so it wouldn't work. Orton is the only one left.

I don't I can't stand him. He is a smart a--. Shawn Michaels nailed his butt tonight. Orton and Edge people you love to hate. They Erk me! And........why do people have to interrupt the matches so much and screw everythin up?
