I was just laughing so hard that I started crying. Why do we start crying when we laugh so hard?

I think we cry when we get too much of an emotion. So when you were laughing, you were experiencing so much joy..I think it'd go the same for sad, humilation, etc.

I don't know, it's never happened to me before... I guess it happens to some people, and not to others. My best guess as to why some people might cry though is because if you laugh really hard, you might feel some discomfort, causing you to cry... maybe? lol
