Neither side in the civil war had uniforms. Individual regiments had uniforms but there was no over-all uniform.
People on both sides usually fought wearing their own clothes that they wore in their personal life and weapons and armour were the same on both sides.
Some noblemen would have their own personal units of men who would wear their uniform and bear their coat of arms, but these were rare elite units.
You could tell what side a basic peasant was on not by his clothes but by which side of the battle field he stood on.
Banners and flags carried by units helped people know who was on which side. Typical symbols were flames, crosses, skulls, lions, swords and horses. A banner for the Royalists might have a skull on it and a slogan saying "For the King! The skull brigade salutes you!", while a Parliamentarian banner may say "For Gode and the Nation" and have a red cross on it.

The New Model Army did have a uniform but not all the units wore it, indeed many were mercenaries that wore their own colours. The basic infantry of the New Model army wore red and the horse-men (cavalry and dragoons) wore beige and black. The better equipped men also wore the distinctive "roundhead" helmets with a 3 pronged face guard. BUT only about 25%-35% of all the New Model Army had proper uniforms, most men wore whatever they could afford and amour taken from the dead.

There was no insignia for either side.

Before the New Model regularized the appearance of the Parliamentary Forces. People wore simply made single colour coats in the color chosen by the Commanders. Early in the war pikemen wore back and breast and tassies of plate. they a gorget and a pikemans pot. There are lots of sights on line about the English Civil war, Go for it. I haven't currently got the patience nor the time to give you a wholly proper answer. And even after struggling to describe this equipment fully, I'm guessing you would still not have a useful picture of what you need. This needs visuals

The Roundheads were the non-royalists supporting Oliver Cromwell. Their armour would have been pretty basic.

Simple metal headgear with bars to cover the face and neck plates. Metal breastplates (if it could be afforded) over heavy leather coats and tough cotton twill trousers with either knee length boots or heavy leather shoes with metal buckles if fighting in the front or on horseback.

Heavy twill coats and britches if a musketeer in the background
