I live in Georgia and am not yet legally separated. Will I risk my custody of my children (going for joint) if I date outside the marriage? Is this considered adultry and criminal in GA? Thanks for the help.

It is adultery----but the grounds for divorce have to occur before the separation---so if the Complaint of Absolute Divorce gets filed, then I think it's OK to day, from a legal standpoint not a moral one. So, she (or you) can't file for divorce on the grounds of adultery until it happens. Unless the grounds for divorce go to your unfitness as a parent it shouldn't affect the custody issue.
There is nothing criminal about it though.

Basically it is correct, that before anything else, you should try to rescue your marriage, if for no other reason than in favour of your children!

If that rescue of your marriage does not work out on the first try, just be patient and keep on trying!

But if nothing helps and you really want to terminate your marriage, be very careful with dating another man! You can easily loose custody of your children!

Actually, you can meet (date) any person of your liking, as long as you do that in public! Real dangerous it will be only, if such a dating takes place in private, like in a home or hotel!

But again, think of your children! They deserve better than that! Before anything else they do need and deserve to be with Papa and Mama!

1. if you are separated and are in the process of legally doing it, go date.
2. if you believe you are committing adultery then you are.
3. If you ex to be spouse is a d-ickhead or B-itch, then just be quiet about the dating keep it to yourself.
4. I don't believe its criminal anywhere to trade up.

Does your husband beat you like every redneck? If not...try and work it out If you have tried...youve got kids. Take a break and concentrate on raising them and be an adult. Its not criminal but its morally wrong to place your emotional/sexual needs above your kids well-being.
