What was the funniest 5-second sequence you ever saw on television?

For me, it was the 4th and final season of SOAP. Jodie and a private detective are looking for his kidnapped daughter. They end up in a Texas bar. The detective warns that this is a rough place, Jodie asks just how rough can it be.

THEN.....THE SEQUENCE.

Camera cuts to this man and woman talking while leaning against this bar. Very close and friendly. The man looks like he's about to say "lets go back to my place".

Suddenly, this man pops out of nowhere, walks right up to them with this s--t eating grin.

The other guy comes off the bar, palms the "grinners" face and pushes him hard right out of the camera range. Very much in command of the situation.

So much so that a second later, he looks at the woman, and pushes her off the same way.

The Johnny Carson answer is a good one. He actually said, 'I didn't know you were Jewish.' Another funny moment was when Archie Bunker was having his picture taken with Sammy Davis Jr. and Sammy Davis kissed Archie on the cheek as the picture was being taken.

The funniest was when Ed Ames threw the tomahawk on the Tonight Show in the 1960's. Then Johnny Carson said something about a rabbi.

one of mine was when Kramer smashed into Jerry's door... I guess Jerry had locked the door for some reason....

all you hear is the thud but you can just imagine Kramer trying to make his usual flamboyant entrance and banging into the door...lol

Another one was on Friends when Joey is on that game show and he is horrible.... I just remember how he said "paper, snow, a GHOST!" ...lol
